As humanity multiplied and habitable land became scarce, a concerted effort of scientific minds was launched. Renowned scientists embarked on adventures on a scale previously thought to belong to the realm of the gods, using highly advanced devices such as the Animator. This marvel of ingenuity had the power to reshape the very fabric of existence, creating and navigating unexplored worlds, both simulations and alternate dimensions. But amidst these lofty ambitions, disaster arose. A terrible fire occurred when the delicate balance between matter and antimatter was upset, causing the animatronics to spontaneously burst into flames and then disappear into the Ether Thereafter.
For many years, the fate of the Animator remained shrouded in mystery, his essence scattered across the boundless expanse of the universe. However, a discovery of great magnitude came when a unique signal, unlike any other known until then, was detected emanating from a universe beyond the confines of our own Milky Way Galaxy. This event reignited the interest of the scientific fraternity. Upon further investigation, the Elders discovered that the Animator’s remaining energy had been harnessed to create a new existence: a mirror of our own world. Within this parallel realm, the regions remained in temporal stasis, merging disparate eras into a hypnotic fabric. Here, mythical beasts and humanity coexisted in harmony, giving rise to “Mythos”: beings afflicted with supernatural powers, such as vampires or werewolves. This terrifying world became known as “Anomalie.”
