About Me

My name is Ren, and my first introduction to web design was at a local library. I learned basic HTML and CSS and made an informational website about my first pet gerbils. I did not return to HTML until much later in my life. Many people say HTML is a pain in the ass; I agree and also disagree. Though I am not adept in the math part of it, I like to visualize webpages and make things I'd like to see more of on the web. I come from the childhood of growing up on "Internet safety" videos, but I also feel like we should use this beautiful thing called the Internet for good and share our interests!

For me, I love writing and art! I mainly write sci-fi, surrealism, and horror. Some of my favorite books are The Murderbot Diaries. I also love to read old sci-fi magazines, like Starlog and Enterprise Incidents. My art is mainly original content, but I do draw the occasional fanart here and there. I am currently writing a comic called Inter Lineas. I try to update it at least once or twice a month.
