What happened in the days leading up to October 23rd, 1987? Throughout October, a new entry will be added each day, told from the perspective of a different character from Inter Lineas. October 1st – Paul A.

Today is the first day of the most awesome month of the year (besides February, since that’s my birthday month): October! Only 30 more days until Halloween. I just need to send out my cards and make sure my VHS tapes are rewound for the big night. Is Blue Velvet too much for a Halloween party?

October 2nd – Sabine

The first deciduous casualties of the season have begun their descent as I make my way to the classroom. Along the walkway to the Academy, students have marked the arrival of fall in chalk: ghosts, ghouls, and one tripedal, squash-shaped cat accompanied by the warning, “Don’t hurt your GOURD studying for midterms! Get tutored in the library every day after school.” Given this particular coping mechanism, they may need all the help they can get.
